On the 16th January 2009 at school council we had a very important visitor, it was the Chairman of the County Council (Tony Kershaw) and his wife (Freda). He watched our assembly and gave out the 60 star certificates. Then the school council showed them the plans for the new playgrounds. We had lots of fantastic ideas. Then we talked about what was most important to do first. We had our pictures taken and they were in the Leicseter Mercury.

When the chiarman came to our school we showed him a large map of our school and we talked about how exciting the ideas for the playground will be. We also asked some questions about his council. He told us that every year the county council have a vote in May. The chairman doesn't write the agenda but he does agree to sign the minutes.
